Sweet & Savory Korean BBQ Sauce from Momofuku Goods brings a complex, deeply flavorful blend to your table. Crafted with soy sauce, fresh ginger, and pear, this sauce offers a balanced taste that enhances a variety of dishes.
The pear in this is such a smart touch, it rounds out the soy sauce so the sauce never tastes harsh. I've been spooning it over grilled chicken thighs all week and it caramelizes beautifully on the edges.
The ginger gives it a nice kick without overpowering the soy, and the pear adds just enough sweetness to balance everything out. I've been using it as a quick marinade for chicken thighs and the flavor clings to the meat perfectly. Already on my second bottle.
The pear really comes through in this sauce—it adds a mellow sweetness that balances the soy and ginger perfectly. I brushed it over some grilled chicken thighs toward the end of cooking and the glaze caramelized into this sticky, glossy finish that disappeared fast. Wish I’d bought two bottles.
